About_
We started Otterfly because bad technology is everywhere — and nobody seems sufficiently bothered by it.
You've been there as a customer. Entered your customer ID twice, been misunderstood by a voice system, told to use the website by the call center and to call in by the website, and finally reached a human who has no idea who you are or why you're calling. Information you already gave, asked again.
And you've been there on the inside too. "How do people sign up for events?" "They fill in the form, it goes into the CRM — well, the old one, not the one we actually use. But every Friday Deborah prints the list, makes the tickets in Word, and emails them out manually." Nobody designed it this way. It just... accumulated.
Bad technology isn't just inefficient. Sometimes it's outright disrespectful — to your customers. People inside your organization deserve better tools than a Friday afternoon Word macro.
We build software the other way around. Technology that works the way people actually work. That asks once, remembers, and gets out of the way. That sparks joy instead of grinding people down.
That's not idealism. That's just good engineering.
We also believe AI is a shift as fundamental as the industrial revolution or the invention of the internet. Every industry. Every company. No exceptions. The ones that adapt will pull ahead. The ones that wait will wonder what happened.
We exist to make sure you're in the first group.
